CO2 Stripper
Carbon dioxode is removed in the CO2 stripper.
Different types of CO2 strippers can be applied.
Especially in seawater, due to its high surface tension,
and its high pH, it is important that the new type of very
efficient and energy efficient CO2 strippers are used.
The old type of aeration systems are not efficient, and
they are expensive to operate.
If CO2 is not efficiently
removed, in Seawater bicarbonate will build up, and effect
growth and feed conversion. The same problems appear if the
level of CO2 is to high in freshwater systems.
